John Potter Studio - Art Inspired by Nature and Spirit

Painting The Quite Dignity of the Natural World

Welcome to John Potter Studio.

John’s paintings reflect a deep love for nature and a lifelong dedication to his craft. With a strong foundation in the essentials of painting—value, color, edges, and drawing—along with years of professional experience in composition, John has developed a style that resonates with both collectors and fellow artists.

“My intent is to borrow from nature, to capture light and color, and to share my own emotional and intellectual response to the world around me,” John explains. “I hope viewers see the quiet dignity of the wild through my eyes.”

We invite you to explore John’s work—art that celebrates light, color, and the spirit of the natural world.
